Last fall, New York–based duo Beau returned from a five-year absence to give us the upbeat electronic track “Dance With Me,” an instantly catchy single we can only hope will precede more new music (as of yesterday, they have another new single out—a dramatic live cover of “WAP”). As we await their next move, the group turned a recent trip to the West Coast into an opportunity for a “Neighborhoods” session where they performed “Dance,” as well as their 2015 single “One Wing.”
Expanded into a full rock outfit, the distinctly Karen O–esque vocals of their latest track take on a new life that sounds even more in line with Yeah Yeah Yeahs, while the latter slows things down for a more downtempo garage rock feel. Watch the full set below.
