Angel Olsen‘s last two albums, 2019’s All Mirrors and last year’s Whole New Mess, were initially thought to be released as a double album. Instead, the year apart in release gave the world distinct points of time to experience and appreciate the vast spectrum of Olsen’s music—the former an extravagant, gothic pageant and the latter more vulnerable and stripped bare. Now, a 40-page book and boxset titled Song of the Lark and Other Far Memories is joining these two shadows of identity into one exclusive, detailed rendering along with a bonus full-length called Far Memory.

Song of the Lark and Other Far Memories will include “all the alternate takes, B-sides, remixes and reimaginings are here, together. Alongside, a 40-page book collection tells a similar story, not just through outtakes and unseen photos but through the smaller, evocative details: handwritten lyrics, a favorite necklace, a beaded chandelier.” The bonus album features Mark Ronson’s remix of “New Love Cassette,” Johnny Jewel’s remix of “All Mirrors,” and a cover of Roxy Music’s “More Than This.”
