The speculation is true. Lorde just dropped a video for the title track from her forthcoming album, Solar Power, her first new music since 2017.  The song was co-written and produced with super-producer and Bleachers/Fun leader Jack Antonoff, who also plays guitar and drums on the track, along with backing vocals from Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo. We’re getting some serious Primal Scream “Loaded” vibes from the melody and chorus on this one.

“The album is a celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalising the deep, transcendent feelings I have when I’m outdoors,” Lorde revealed in her newsletter. “In times of heartache, grief, deep love, or confusion, I look to the natural world for answers. I’ve learnt to breathe out, and tune in. This is what came through. I want this album to be your summer companion, the one you pump on the drive to the beach. The one that lingers on your skin like a tan as the months get cooler again.”
