After sharing the details and first single of her upcoming third LP Ivy Tripp, Kate Crutchfield of Waxahatchee is back with “Under a Rock.” It’s a guitar-driven rock song with a pinch of ’90s nostalgia that gets in and gets out in just over two minutes.

In a press release, Crutchfield said, “I heard someone say that you have to be the change you want to see. I just want to be the kind of musician I want to see in the world. I want to present myself in a way that reflects that.”

Waxahatchee hits the road this spring with Girlpool, and you can see those dates here. Ivy Tripp is out April 7 via Merge.
