On his new EP Stardust, Butch Dawson declares hes’s fresher than a Krispy Kreme straight out of the oven. That’s exactly the kind of confidence needed for a major labor debut, and Dawson delivers. He doesn’t hide behind the velvet curtain, but instead embraces the limelight while flexing major fashion brands, friendships with Benjamins, and Fiji water/blunt combos.
Of the project, Butch said: “Stardust is about my transition into becoming who [I] was meant to be. My story begins with Swamp Boy and the level and value gets bigger with every project. As a leader and a mentor, I hope I could leave a great example for not only artists like me in Baltimore, but artist like me all over the world. Stardust is the effect I’ll leave on the world.”
