Between the release of Stranger Things’s fourth season, the cult-hit-in-the-making Do Revenge, and her sophomore album Moss, 2022 has been a huge year for Maya Hawke. As she continues to split her time between acting and songwriting—not to mention poetry, modeling, and other artistic endeavors—it’s becoming harder to tell which creative outlet will consume her future as we’re able to watch her dramatically develop and continue to impress in both spheres.
After catching up with Hawke a few months back to discuss the period of her life that inspired Moss, she took the time to record an episode of FLOOD FM’s “Hacked” series where she compiled a list of songs to spin, punctuated by tales from her blossoming career.
