White Fence’s Tim Presley and Cate Le Bon have been teasing their collaborative record for some time now (it’s been on our radar all year), and yesterday the duo made good on their very enticing promise with another teaser, naturally, but this time along with the most concrete information yet.
Set to a fragment of some very Faust-y sounding music, the video announces the project as DRINKS, and is mainly compiled footage of dogs, with a sprinkling of glimpses at Presley and Le Bon catching a bit of sun, heads up, just like lizards.
Supposedly titled Hermits on Holiday, the release is set to come out in August on Birth Records (this would be the second-ever release from the label, which Presley initially created to distribute Jessica Pratt’s debut album), with a single due at some point this month.
