Sheer Mag has announced Playing Favorites, the band’s third full-length and first with Third Man Records. The album is set to arrive on March 1. Regarding the track, which has been released today, the band said, “After nearly ten years of touring together, we felt qualified to write a song about doing it. It’s a good introduction to the next era of Sheer Mag.” The track also arrives alongside a video directed by Craig Scheihing, offering fans insight into life on the road.
In accompanying news, the group has announced a Spring 2024 North American tour. The forthcoming run kicks off in DC in late March and finds them traveling from coast to coast through early May. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. local time.
