Yaya Bey has shared “me and all my n****s,” the final single from her forthcoming album Ten Fold, out May 10 via Big Dada. The cut kicks off with warbling synths and a dusty drum loop that immediately calls for serious, sturdy head-nodding. The FLOODfest 2024 alum croons with swagger and substance, showcasing a really impressive vocal display as she reaches for upper registers.
The song is accompanied by a Chassidy David–directed visual that Yaya choreographed and styled, and for which she came up with the concept. Speaking on the video she said: “This video is an ode to my dad [East Coast hip-hop icon Grand Daddy I.U.] and his style from his first album.”
