Jean Dawson’s been keeping plenty busy since gracing our digital cover back in the spring—from releasing his Boohoo EP, to collabing with 1999 Write the Future, to covering Talking Heads. Yet all of this was evidently leading up to his first new full-length since 2022’s CHAOS NOW*, with a new release titled Glimmer of God being announced today for an October release (exact date TBA). Continuing on with the eclectic guest spots from that prior record, the album’s lead single sees Dawson teaming up with fellow genre deconstructionist Lil Yachty for an expectedly grandiose yet unclassifiable listen.
Alongside the new album’s rollout, Dawson has also unveiled his itinerary for the Glimmer of God tour, which kicks off October 18 in Minneapolis. Check out the full list of dates and purchase tickets here, and hear new single “Die for Me” below.
