Global Communication’s Mark Pritchard and Thom Yorke have teamed up for “Back in the Game,” a track that Thommy boy debuted during his recent “Everything” solo tour and has since become a staple in his set. The song marks the duo’s second collaboration following “Beautiful People” from Pritchard’s 2016 solo album Under the Sun. The track is an acid-tinged, scorched-Earth slow-burner (you can probably throw in a few more hyphenated descriptors if you’d like). Yorke’s vocals were digitally distorted by Pritchard with the H910 Harmonizer, which is one of the world’s earliest devices for audio digital effects.
