A tour of the Midwest and West Coast may seem like small potatoes in the wake of Horsegirl recently returning home from a series of dates in Japan, yet that doesn’t make that string of August shows any less impactful. The Chicago trio continued to support their February-released conceptual second album Phonetics On and On—one of the best of the year so far—up through the end of the summer, bringing with them the equally experimental Godcaster as traveling companions.
Given that Horsegirl’s Nora Cheng, Penelope Lowenstein, and Gigi Reece captured the tour in photos for us, we can confirm that Godcaster’s penchant for antics are on the same level as Horsegirl’s, as well.
