Seemingly fulfilling the wishes of the inimitable Karl Havoc, Broken Social Scene are returning today with a new single called “Not Around Anymore” which will appear on their first new album since 2017’s Hug of Thunder. The collective’s Remember the Humans will arrive on May 8 via Arts & Crafts, and the new track comes paired with a music video directed by Jordan D. Allen, Rachel McLean, and the band’s own Kevin Drew.

In addition to the new music, BSS have announced the “All the Feelings” North American tour, which will find them traversing the continent alongside fellow Canadian indie-rockers Metric and Stars—the former of whom, coincidentally, are also announcing a new record today. The run begins in Austin on June 8 and ends in Toronto on August 7, and will feature a stop at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on June 16. Check out the full run of dates and find the video for “Not Around Anymore” below, and pre-order Remember the Humans here.
