For more than 25 years, Gorillaz have existed somewhere between a band, an art project, and a virtual universe of their own making. Ever since Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett brought the conceptual virtual group to life in 1998, they've been pushing the boundaries of art and music.

Nine albums and nearly three decades later, they're bringing their traveling House of Kong exhibition to New York. Initially launched as a one-time event in London in the fall of 2025 to celebrate the project's 25th anniversary, the immersive exhibition later made a stop in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Now, it's New York's turn to host the exhibition. It will take up residency at Brooklyn's Agger Fish Building from September 1 through 28. Presale tickets for Kong Card holders will be available on June 29 at 10 a.m. ET via Gigantic, while the general onsale begins on June 30 at 10 a.m. ET.

In the meantime, for more information, you can visit the Gorillaz website and explore the virtual worlds they've created. There, you can register, wander through a graveyard, battle zombies, unlock a variety of studios, and more.

Don't forget, too, that FLOOD's latest coffee table–friendly print issue celebrates 25 years of Gorillaz and is on sale now.
