Nate Amos has returned with another new This Is Lorelei single ahead of his new LP, The Singer in My Band. The new album will arrive on September 11 via Matador Records and comes during a wildly prolific period for the songwriter, just five months after the Super Deluxe edition of Box for Buddy, Box for Star arrived. Said new single is entitled “Oh No Now My” and comes alongside a stop-motion animation video by Julia Fernandez.
Regarding the new tune, Amos said: “‘Oh No Now My’ is a song that ate itself—there were three versions of it before it landed here, where it has nothing in common with the original. I think it’s good but it’s hard to sing. I hope you like it.”
