Sugar have shared a new 20-minute documentary entitled Changes: The Story of Sugar, which dives into the history of the seminal Bob Mould–led outfit. Directed by Rob Hatch-Miller (an executive producer on the recent Elephant 6 doc), the film features archival footage, interviews with band members, excerpts from Mould’s memoir, and a few guest appearances.

“It seems to have been one of the happiest eras of Bob's life,” said Hatch-Miller about the film. “We found so much great archival footage, like Lance Bangs’ never-before-seen video of the band’s first show ever at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, footage of Bob’s solo acoustic European festival tour with Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., and Nirvana in 1991, and so many clips of Bob and the band on MTV’s 120 Minutes, where they were so warmly embraced and brought to a mainstream television audience.”
