Tomorrow night, minimalist post-punk duo Automatic will take the stage at Outside Lands ahead of a late-summer/early-fall tour that will lead them to the UK and Europe before returning home to the States for nearly two straight months of shows. Before all of that transpires, they’re sharing a new track today which probably won’t make its way into their set list, given that it’s really just an old track reworked by Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ guitarist Nick Zinner. His take on “Black Box” from the band’s most recent LP Is It Now? reimagines the cut as a spooky disco number with a steady groove that’s equal parts dancey and unnerving.

You can listen to the new remix below, and check out the band’s full list of tour dates (including some newly announced opening sets for DMA’s in Australia) on their website.
