YACHT.

LA–based electro-pop duo YACHT know (as every good Angeleno knows) that the city’s traffic can be the absoluteworst.

In an attempt to make the stop-and-g0 drudgery a bit more tolerable, YACHT have made a new song called “L.A. Plays Itself” that will only play when Uber is in surge pricing mode, starting today. And if traffic gets really bad and surge pricing hits 2x, a remix version of the song by Darq E Freaker will kick in.

So next time you’re sitting still on the 101 watching the meter tick up, head here to treat yourself to YACHT’s newest track.

“L.A. Plays Itself” will appear on YACHT’s upcoming new album, I Thought The Future Would Be Coolerwhich comes out October 16 on Downtown Records.
