The release of Panda Bear’s Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper (out January 13 via Domino) is taking listeners on a multimedia journey ‘round the world—tracks from Noah Lennox’s latest solo LP are premiering live via radio stations around the globe in the sequence they appear on the album (here’s a handy interactive map to help you pin down when and where to hear the tracks as they premiere). The lush, spaced-out “Sequential Circuits” is the first track on the album and the first to premiere, via BBC’s Radio 6—fast-forward to the 1:23:00 mark to give it a listen.
Panda Bear will also be playing a special show January 11 in New York at the Museum of Modern Art’s Ps1 VW Dome, presented by Boiler Room, backed by visuals from artist and collaborator Danny Perez. Ticket information is here, but for anyone who can’t make it, the performance will be live-streaming online via Boiler Room.
