Phoebe Bridgers has got good taste in bands she opens for. Or maybe it’s the bands who’ve got good taste in choosing her to open. In the past, the songstress has preceded both American Football and The National onstage, and this spring she’ll be opening for The 1975 in their massive tour of North America. Beabadoobee will be the supporting band when the tour hits the UK.

Today, The 1975 released a brand new track—called “Me & You Together Song”—off their forthcoming album Notes On a Conditional Form. The LP was supposed to come out next month (via Dirty Hit/Interscope), but frontman Matt Healy has revealed the release will be postponed until April 24 .

The new track is a sappy, peppy love song with lyrics that might need British-English to American-English translation; when Healy sings, “I had a dream where we had kids / You would cook, I’d do the nappies,” he’s talking about diapers. FYI.

The band are also taking a page out of our Sustainability Issue, and have promised to plant a tree for every tour ticket sold. Good shout, that. If you pre-order their album now, you’ll be eligible for the general admission ticket pre-sale—so go here, and see full tour dates below.
