It’s almost that time of year again where we see just how many humans can fit into the ever-growing capital city of Texas; SXSW is set to infiltrate Austin on March 13-22, and there’s still plenty of secrets yet to be revealed before the ten-day fest.
One such revelation came today with the fest announcing SX’s keynote speakers: Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will be speaking with Watchmen writer/producer Damon Lindelof about collaborating on the HBO series’ soundtrack; St. Vincent will have plenty to talk about with Carrie Brownstein, considering their recent work together in music and film; and director Michael Moore will be chatting with the founding members of Pink Floyd—including Roger Waters, who’s met Moore before. Additionally, we’ll hear talks from Janelle Monáe and The Farewell director Lulu Wang.
In case you’re somehow worried that you won’t have enough to do over the event’s ten days, featured speakers will also include Judd Apatow, Stephen Colbert, Noam Chomsky, Desus and Mero, Holly Herndon, Spike Jonze, Kim Kardashian West, and plenty more. Oh, and there will also be live music.
Registration for SXSW is now open—claim your spot now to avoid the rate increase being implemented after this Friday.
