Beloved indie quartet Ratboys will be hosting a 25-hour telethon on October 31 starting at 10 a.m. PST. It will be live on their Twitch, and the goal is to raise money for the Equal Justice Initiative and Girls Rock! Chicago.
Virtual performances at the event will include sets from Foxing’s Conor Murphy, Laura Stevenson, The Beths, Bartees Strange, Diet Cig, illuminati hotties, Prince Daddy & the Hyena, Anjimile, Adult Mom, Disq, Chris Farren, Oceanator, Rosie Tucker, and many more. There will also be pumpkin carving and spooky stories.
“We’re going to be exhausted, and it’s going to be an absolute blast,” vocalist/guitarist Julia Steiner said in a press release. Instead of having no Halloween plans, indie rock fans can stay up for 25 hours, help some organizations, watch great artists, all while staying socially distanced.
