Modest Mouse have just released the third single ahead of their highly anticipated new album Strangers to Ourselves called “The Best Room.” The driving, jittery new track follows the release of “Lampshades On Fire” and “Coyotes”—three of what will be a fifteen-track album.
To celebrate the release of their new album, Modest Mouse will also make an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on March 17.
Strangers to Ourselves was recorded in Portland, Oregon, at frontman Isaac Brock’s recording studio Ice Cream Party, and features a number of notable collaborators, including James Mercer of The Shins and Dann Gallucci of Cold War Kids. Listen to “The Best Room” below.
Strangers to Ourselves is out March 17 via Modest Mouse’s longtime label Epic.
