A year into the pandemic, it’s safe to say that two of the biggest holes in our social lives involve food and music. While we’re still a little ways off from venues permitting us to enjoy either to open back up, KCRW and Good Food are teaming up to bring both to us via their three-part virtual series Sound Bites, which will pair figures from the culinary and music worlds together to discuss the future of their respective industries post-pandemic
The first conversational pairing reunites FLOOD 8 cover stars John Gourley of Portugal. The Man and chef Roy Choi, who’ll pick up on that 2018 conversation with the input of KCRW’s Anne Litt and Good Food’s Evan Kleiman.
