Andrew W.K. is a musician with a lot of acclaim and a lot of mystique. He recently announced his fifth album God Is Partying, out September 10, and released its first single “I’m in Heaven.” Now even bigger events are forthcoming from the avant-rock god that involve love, wedding bells, and, of course, more partying.
Actress Kat Dennings (Dollface, WandaVision, 2 Broke Girls) and W.K. confirmed their relationship earlier this year, but it appears that the connection has been years in the making. Vanity Fair pointed out that in 2014 Dennings replied to one of his photos with “You are a tall drink of milk AWK.” Now, the couple have announced their engagement by sharing photos on Instagram. Dennings posted a photo of her new ring with the caption, “Don’t mind if I do.” Get it?! It’s punny and sweet. I love love.
