FLOOD 3 Launch Party
DTS Space LA at the FLOOD Gallery
April 21
Los Angeles, CA

We recently dropped FLOOD 3, our third magazine (made on actual, real paper!), which features stories on the likes of Iggy Pop, Michael Muller’s shark photography, Kumail Nanjiani, Margo Price, Andrew Bird, and many, many more. After putting that all together, obviously that meant it was time for a party, for which we were thrilled to have another FLOOD 3–featured artist—Grace Mitchell—rep the pages within by performing a set.

It all went down at DTS Space LA in the FLOOD Gallery, with Diego Cuevas and KYWO setting the grooves with DJ sets, Family Industries silkscreening shirts specially designed by Shepard Fairey’s Studio Number One, and Ricky’s Fish Tacos dishing (you guessed it) delish fish tacos. If you weren’t too distracted by the FLOOD 3 art on the walls, you might’ve noticed one of its subjects (and writers!) Natalie Morales, as well as the mighty Twin Shadow hanging out, waiting for Mitchell to take the stage, which she did with great authority, as you see for yourself in David Benjamin’s photos below. As always, big up to our beverage sponsors, Goose Island Beer Co. and Sailor Jerry Rum, and thanks to everyone who came out to make it a great night.
