Weyes Blood’s Natalie Mering has shared a music video for her track “Twin Flame,” one of many standouts from her 2022 Sub Pop album And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow. In the vintage gothic-horror visual directed by Ambar Navarro, Mering plays two parts, walking through a spooky castle at night looking for her recently disappeared husband before encountering what appears to be an enemy.
Earlier this month, Weyes Blood opened Proenza Schouler’s Spring 2024 Fashion Show in New York City, both walking the runway and writing an original composition for its soundtrack. That very night, she opened for Phoenix and Beck on their “Summer Odyssey Tour” at Madison Square Garden. Her own tour in support of And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow continues on September 27 in San Francisco.
